About

A security company built for the person who has to answer for the property

Vantaris Security is a Twin Cities company serving properties across the Saint Paul and Minneapolis metro.

Why we exist

This industry has trained property managers to expect very little, and then to be embarrassed when very little is what they get.

Vantaris starts from the record: what has to be provable, who has to be able to read it, and how fast you need it when someone asks. The guards, the post orders, and the supervision are all built to produce that.

We are not trying to be the cheapest option. We are the option you can defend in a meeting.

What we hold to

Accountability

If we say a guard walked the property, there is a timestamped record that says so. We would rather be checked than trusted.

Documentation

An incident that is not written down did not happen, as far as an owner, a board, or an insurer is concerned. We write everything down.

Local

We are based in Minnesota and we serve Minnesota. You will speak to someone who has walked the property, not a call center reading a ticket.

Guards treated properly

Guards who are paid fairly, briefed properly, and supervised show up and stay. Turnover is what most security failures actually are.

Licensing and coverage

Vantaris Security is licensed, insured, and bonded in Minnesota. We serve properties across the Saint Paul and Minneapolis metro.

Know a property that is not being looked after? Introduce it through the referral program, and be paid a referral reward when it signs.

Questions we get asked

Is Vantaris licensed and insured?
Yes. Vantaris Security is licensed, insured, and bonded in Minnesota under license PAC 2500, issued by the Minnesota Board of Private Detective and Protective Agent Services.
Can I see what is happening on my property?
Yes. Sightline by Vantaris is included with every contract. You open it yourself and see where your guard has been, checkpoint scans with timestamps, and incident reports with photos.
What does security coverage cost?
Cost follows the post, not a list price. What moves it: whether the guard is armed, how many hours and which ones, how many posts the property needs, and how much a single guard is being asked to cover. Vantaris prices against written post orders, so the number is tied to defined work rather than an hourly rate with the job left vague.
How many guards does a property need?
That is what the assessment is for. It depends on the entrances, the hours that actually carry risk, whether tours or a standing post fit the property, and what has already gone wrong there. Anyone who gives you a number before walking the property is guessing.
Do you provide armed and unarmed guards?
Both, along with concierge guards for lobbies and staffing for events. The mix is set by the property and the post orders written for it.
Do I need armed or unarmed coverage?
Unarmed is the right answer for most properties: presence, deterrence, and a written record. Armed fits where the risk is real enough to justify it, and that is decided at the property rather than on a price sheet.
What should I ask a security company before hiring one?
Ask what the record looks like. Can you see where the guard went and when, without phoning to ask. Are incident reports written the same shift, with photos, in language you can forward to an owner. Who answers at 2am. Ask to see a sample report before you sign anything.
Where do you work?
Across the Saint Paul and Minneapolis metro, with local management.
What happens when I call after hours?
A local person answers, and they know your property.

Find out what you are not being told about your property

A security assessment is a walk of your property and a plain reading of where coverage, reporting, and accountability are thin. No obligation, no salesman, and a local company that answers the phone.
