Armed Security

For properties where the risk is real enough that the officer needs to be armed, and the reporting needs to be good enough to stand up afterwards.

The situation

An armed post is the one an owner will question hardest, and the one an insurer will read most closely. If it happens on your property, the record is the whole defense.

Vantaris places licensed armed officers on properties where deterrence has to be unambiguous: cash handling, elevated tenant risk, late hours, garages and loading areas with a history, and sites where an unarmed presence has already been tested.

The decision to place an armed post is made during the assessment, not sold to you. Where an unarmed or concierge post serves the property better, that is what gets recommended.

Every armed shift produces the same documentation as every other Vantaris shift. Tours scanned, incidents written the same night with photos and a resolution status, all of it in your dashboard rather than in a filing cabinet you have never seen.

How the post runs

Licensed and permitted officers

Armed officers hold current Minnesota permits and work under a licensed, insured, and bonded agency.

Post orders written for the property

Escalation contacts, use of force expectations, tenant interaction, and after hours procedure, written down before the first shift.

Guard tours on a set pattern

Checkpoints at the points that actually carry risk, scanned and timestamped, with position captured at clock in and at each scan.

Incidents documented the same night

A written report with photos and a resolution status, in Sightline before the shift ends, ready to forward to the owner.

Where it fits

Office and mixed use properties with elevated risk

Parking structures and loading areas

Residential portfolios with a recent history of incidents

Sites where an unarmed post has already been challenged

Find out what you are not being told about your property

A security assessment is a walk of your property and a plain reading of where coverage, reporting, and accountability are thin. No obligation, no salesman, and a local company that answers the phone.
