Vantaris Security LLC Privacy Policy

Vantaris Security LLC is a licensed, insured, and bonded private security company serving the Saint Paul and Minneapolis metro area in Minnesota, holding Minnesota Private Protective Agent license PAC 2500.

This policy covers our website, our client portal, and the portal our guards use.

1. Website

We collect personal information only when you submit it through one of our forms: a security assessment request, a general message, a careers application, or a referral. Each asks for your name and contact details along with whatever the form is about. The careers form also takes a resume file if you choose to attach one, and the referral form asks for the property you are introducing.

We use it to respond to you and to follow up. A resume is sent to us as a file rather than a link, stays in our recruiting inbox, and goes nowhere else.

We use Google Analytics to count page visits and see which pages are read. It sets two cookies, named _ga and _ga followed by a property code, which last up to two years and let it recognize a returning visitor. We ask before setting them. If you decline, none are set, and the site works exactly the same. Nothing here is used to build a profile of you.

We also count visits in a way that uses no cookies and does not store your IP address. That runs either way, because there is nothing on your device to agree to.

We serve our own fonts from our own servers, so loading a page on this site does not send a request to any outside company.

2. Client Portal

Our client portal, branded Sightline, is reached through a secure login granted under a signed service agreement. There is no public signup.

A client sees records for their own properties only: guard position captured at clock in and at each checkpoint scan, checkpoint scan records, shift records, incident reports including photographs, and monthly reporting. We collect the client user's name, work email, phone number, company, and their activity in the portal.

3. Guard Portal

Vantaris guards use the portal on mobile devices, including personal ones. It collects device location at clock in, at clock out, and at each checkpoint scan during an active shift. There is no continuous tracking, and no location is collected off shift. The portal does not monitor a guard's device, calls, messages, or other applications.

It also holds shift and attendance records, incident reports including photographs and video, and acknowledgment of post orders. We use this to verify attendance, document tours, pay guards correctly, and report to the client whose property the guard is assigned to.

Every guard signs a separate written acknowledgment covering location capture before their first shift. That document, not this policy, is where a guard gives consent.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

5. How We Protect and Keep Information

We maintain safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, and longer where insurance, legal, or regulatory requirements apply.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date above.
